Needs to have a strong OD and change management background!?
This is for a Senior level Human Resource professional for a leading global organization in downtown Chicago to advise and consult on all areas of HR and change management. This person will collaborate with business leadership, design and execute strategic, long range, operational and developmental goals, and may lead or participate in special projects and other special assignments.?
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a strategic business partner to senior management, consulting on all areas of HR and related issues.?
- Develops HR strategic plans and budgets and establishes strategic and long-term HR direction for the functional area. Ensures execution of plans.
- Oversees HR operations for a business area.
- Assists others in resolving high visibility HR issues and problems.
- Identifies, recommends, develops and implements programs or processes to address business needs.
- May lead project teams, and may lead and/or participate in special projects or assignments ensuring strategic plan implementation is consistent with department/corporate goals, policies, quality assurance and growth objectives.
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external business partners.? Demonstrates strong coaching skills.
- Stays up to date on trends and developments within HR, the functional area as well as the insurance industry.
- Highly analytical.? Comfortable driving and influencing decision making utilizing data.?
Education & Experience:
- Master?s degree or equivalent experience with professional certifications preferred.
- 8-10 years related work experience with demonstrated proficiency in required HR skills and abilities.
- Needs to have OD and change management background?
